Renowned chocolatier Forrest Mars had a vision to create premium chocolates so exquisite in taste and appearance they would be regarded as the world's finest. In 1911, Frank and Ethel Mars (as in Ethel M Chocolates) started making and selling chocolates from their kitchen in Tacoma, Washington. They originated a family tradition of producing quality confections ultimately passed on to their son and the creation of Ethel M Chocolates. Today the tradition continues and is reflected in every piece created and enjoyed worldwide. Standard shipping days for Ethel's orders are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We need to receive the orders by 10:00 A.M. (PDT) to ship the same day. Anything received after 10:00 A.M. (PDT) will ship the next day unless it is received on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
